Technical Data
Reliable design for any applicationDesigned and manufactured using the most modern computer aided design, manufacture, test, and inspection techniques, several innovative SLOMAN features have been incorporated within the product. These result in the SLOMAN rotary lobe pump range being ideally suited to both continuous and intermittent transfer or process applications, offering a wide range of displacements. Every SLOMAN rotary lobe pump model offers smooth flow, positive self priming pumping action, dry running and reverse flow ability with low agitation or shear. The SLOMAN rotary lobe pump combines a proven design with extraordinary features, to produce a traditional pump ideally suited for today's demanding applications requiring a traditional lobe pump. Unique characteristics combine to make SLOMAN rotary lobe pumps ideal for hygienic or industrial application. The pump has a gray cast gearbox, stainless steel X5CrNiMo17-12-2 (EN 10088) pump head components for hygiene applications and corrosion resistance. With innovative design and low-shear flow, the SLOMAN rotary lobe pump meets the demand for high product quality, reliability, and service.
Product Features
SLOMAN pumps cut operating costs and maintain constant efficiencyBy removing only the front cover, both rotors can be fully accessed from the front of the pump without disconnecting the process line. Design of SLOMAN rotary lobe pump, except classic solution with dismountable rotors, use and solution rotors fixing without screws for totally aseptic applications. Every feature on the SLOMAN rotary lobe pump range has been specifically designed to make dismantling (whether for inspection, cleaning or maintenance)-simple, quicker, easier and cheaper. Removing the gearbox cover exposes the "back pull out" shaft cartridges for in-line inspection or complete removal without disconnecting the process line. This operation is further simplified by incorporating a spacer coupling when direct-coupled prime movers are employed. The pump has a seal housing which can accept mechanical seals to suit all applications. What's more, the seal position places the seals in direct contact with SIP and CIP fluids. Superior seal cleanliness lengthens seal life and minimizes seal flaking (product contamination). And because the seals are located behind the rotors, areas of product entrapment are eliminated for superior ultrahygienic performance. The pump conforms to all the relevant EHEDG cleanliness requirements and exceeds the design criteria to make the SLOMAN rotary lobe pump one of the cleanest standard construction pumps available. The SLOMAN rotary lobe pump range was designed to eliminate potential product-retaining areas in the flow path through the pump and, where required, to provide the facility for permanent sterile barriers at all product/atmosphere interfaces. Concept SLOMAN rotary lobe pump to maintain the specified environment with exceptional reliability and efficiency and less downtime. Together, these features deliver tremendous operational benefits. And because it is a proven design, the SLOMAN rotary lobe pump offers superior reliability in a wide range of applications and gives fleet operators an easy to maintain and low cost solution to their pumping requirements.
